This project entailed the conceptualization and design of a boutique hotel along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, where the design aesthetic was thoughtfully curated by our team to reflect the vibrant spirit of Huntington Beach. In this endeavor, we embraced the essence of the local community, weaving its culture, natural beauty, and laid-back charm into every element of the design.
The journey began with extensive site analysis, carefully selecting the optimal location to best capture the breathtaking coastal views and unique atmosphere of the area. We then moved into the creative phase, crafting mood boards that brought our vision to life—blending textures, colors, and forms that resonated with the heart of Huntington Beach. Finally, the vision materialized through 3D renderings created using Rhino, translating our ideas into a digital space that felt both intimate and immersive.
This project not only sharpened my technical and creative skills but also deepened my understanding of how design can serve as a bridge between a community’s identity and the built environment.
